About Me

I am originally from North Miami Beach, FL but left the sunshine state upon graduating high school to attend Rochester Institute of Technology. I chose to head to the frigid north because I was recruited to play ice hockey for RIT’s women’s ice hockey team (a sport I picked up attending a private high school with hockey as a club sport). I stayed in the north east for a few more years, until finally returning to sunny south Florida. I loved my time in Florida, as I was able to live just a few hundred feet from the ocean, be close to my family and have access to an incredible equestrian community, but the travel bug was calling and I decided I would take the next 4 years to explore. I spent most of my time scuba diving, riding horses, and surfing in Costa Rica, but I also travelled to Panama, Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, and the Czech Republic. Once I returned to the states, I spent a few years in Raleigh, but am now thrilled to be living in downtown Chapel Hill and getting to experience everything the city has to offer.
