About Me

I am originally from North Miami Beach, Florida, but left the sunshine state upon graduating high school to attend Rochester Institute of Technology. I chose to head to the frigid north because I was recruited to play ice hockey for RIT’s women’s ice hockey team (a sport I picked up attending high school with ice hockey as a club sport). I stayed in the northeast for a few more years, until finally returning to sunny south Florida. I loved my time in Florida, as I was able to live just a few hundred feet from the ocean, be close to my family and have access to an incredible equestrian community, but the travel bug was calling. I decided I would take the next four years to explore. I spent most of my time scuba diving, riding horses and surfing in Costa Rica, but I also traveled to Panama, Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Israel and the Czech Republic. Once I returned to the states, I spent a few years in Raleigh, but I am thrilled to be living in Hillsborough and getting to experience everything the area has to offer.
