Haleh (pronounced Holly) is the Senior Vice President and lead advisor of our Chapel Hill office, where she works with a variety of clients: ranging from couples to single adults, and across the aging spectrum. Haleh has specific expertise in areas related to aging, including senior housing options, divorce and widowhood and has been published and interviewed both statewide and nationally on women’s financial issues. Haleh joined SFG in 2011 after beginning her career at Price Waterhouse Coopers in Chicago. Later, Haleh served in a treasury and finance role at a public company.

Haleh is a financial columnist for Southern Neighbor, a Chapel Hill publication. She has authored numerous articles for various organizations such as the NC Bar Association and the NC Association of Mediators. Haleh is currently at work on a book about Gray Divorce (divorce after age 50).
• Haleh is a member of the board at Carolina Meadows, the state’s largest continuing care facility, where she serves as Treasurer and chairs the board Finance Committee.
I’m a longtime resident of Durham, NC, have two adult children and enjoy painting and traveling. When time allows, I conduct painting classes for aspiring adult artists and have occasionally exhibited and sold my work.
