Overview

Karyn recently joined the Chapel Hill office of Stearns Financial Group as a client service associate. She complements the team with over 20 years of experience in the financial/banking industry including team management. Karyn is known for her contributions with charity organizations that include Austin/San Antonio Junior League, Austin Junior Forum and the Austin United Way to name a few. Karyn also created the first Doggie Palooza Pet Pageant in Austin supporting animal outreach and adoption.

About Me

We moved from downtown Denver to North Carolina in 2020 and fell in love with this beautiful state instantly. We are originally from Austin, Texas, with 100-year-old roots in ranching and cattle that are still being used to this day. In our spare time we love to explore the mountains, ocean or fun facts about the state. I also love the art community and volunteering at NC Museum of Art. My husband and I have been married over 35 years with two grown children and two grandchildren back in Texas and Arizona. Of course, I cannot forget my two cats and dog whom I adore!
